Lerab Ling -which literally means « Sanctuary of Enlightened
Action »- is a place of peace, contemplation and learning. The Temple at Lerab Ling is home to the worldwide Rigpa Study and Practice Programme that is rooted in the ancient Tibetan Buddhist teachings, which offer profound methods for discovering the true nature of our minds, beyond suffering and turmoil.

We invite you to become a Friend of the Lerab Ling Temple through making a donation.

As a benefactor of the Lerab Ling Temple you will help provide long term support for:

• development of our educational and contemplative programmes;
• invitation of great masters and lineage holders to give teachings;
• preservation of Tibet's cultural heritage and sacred arts;
• stewardship of the natural, meditative surrounds of the Temple;
• development of ecological sustainability initiatives;

According to the traditional Buddhist scriptures, the spiritual benefit we receive when we make an offering to a sacred place such as the Lerab Ling Temple, is tremendous. Furthermore, if you make your donation in the true spirit of generosity, it is said that this offering can help to create powerful positive circumstances in your own life and spiritual path.

An aspiration, your personal heart link with Lerab Ling

When you become a Friend of the Lerab Ling Temple, you are invited to write an aspiration prayer in your own name -or that of a family member, friend or loved one- to accompany your donation. If your donation is dedicated in the name of a family member, friend or loved one, the benefit of your offering is even more amplified. It is also possible to dedicate your donation towards creating more favourable circumstances in your life.

Your aspiration will be printed and placed in front of the main Buddha statue in the temple for one year, where it will be blessed by the many masters and teachers who visit Lerab Ling, as well as by the daily practices that are held here. As a reminder of your aspiration, you will receive a photo of the Buddha statue with your personal message printed on it.
Example of an aspiration: “to bring favourable circumstances to John Smith and his family”, or “for peace in the World”.

When you become a Friend of the Lerab Ling Temple and complete your donation online, you will receive a confirmation email with a link where you can send us your aspiration.

Bringing you closer to Lerab Ling

As a token of our gratitude, we will send you a double DVD set which features a tour of Lerab Ling and the Temple, the inauguration ceremony conducted by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and a complete public teaching by Sogyal Rinpoche (minimum donation
of €48 or €4 per month).

If you donate more that €200 per year, you will also receive a special commemorative coin of the Lerab Ling Temple, which includes the eight auspicious symbols. If your donation is equal or more than €1000, you will receive the DVD and a beautiful crystal image of the Lerab Ling Temple.
